Rural Medical Education (RMED) [http://www.uirockford.com/omee/rmed.asp] at the Rockford campus is a program designed to train and support family physicians in the practice of medicine in rural Illinois. The RMED is a four-year curriculum for Illinois residents with a commitment to family practice in rural Illinois.
Applicants must apply separately to the College of Medicine and the RMED program.
