The College’s MD program prepares students for the practice of medicine with an outstanding science education and extensive clinical experience. First-year
students are assigned to either the Chicago or Urbana campus. Chicago students continue there until graduation; Urbana M1s either remain at Urbana for the next three years, or move to Peoria or Rockford.
The College of Medicine participates in the American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS) a centralized application processing service. Applications are available in April and must be filed by Nov. 15 of the year preceding enrollment.
